The Outsiders Play Jazz!
The Outsiders is a unique jazz band featuring flute, two guitars, bass, and drums. Not just another run-of-the-mill jazz band, The Outsiders are known for their one-of-a kind sound and conception as well as their enormous repertoire, which keeps things interesting for listeners.
The band's instrumentation is versatile enough to work in a range of venues from quiet, intimate restaurants and coffee houses to festivals. The Outsiders play the full range of modern jazz styles including the best of swing, bebop, modal, Latin, and avant-garde styles.

Founded in 1989, The Outsiders' current lineup has been in place for over Ten years. The band includes Bill Cohen and Jimmy Tamae on guitars, Matt Bloomfield on flute, Scott Graham on bass, and Tom Jedynak on drums.
Based in Los Angeles, the band works all over the Southland, playing well over 100 gigs a year in Los Angeles, Long Beach, Venice, Pasadena, the South Bay, and the San Gabriel and San Fernando Valleys. Check out their Performance Schedule to see when and where the band is playing next.
